Rules for using the ECCONY platform.

These terms apply to directory listings, event requests, sponsor inquiries, workshop proposals, media submissions, newsletter forms, and dashboard use.

User submissions

Users are responsible for the accuracy, legality, ownership, and appropriateness of information, logos, photos, media, and text submitted to ECCONY.

Approval rights

ECCONY may review, edit, approve, reject, remove, or decline to publish any listing, content submission, event request, sponsor request, or workshop proposal.

No guarantee of results

Directory, sponsor, media, event, and workshop participation may provide recognition, visibility, or community presence, but ECCONY does not guarantee sales, leads, attendance, interviews, revenue, or specific results.

Payments

Payments are handled through third-party payment links or processors. ECCONY does not store card data. Payment status may require manual administrative reconciliation until automated webhooks are added.

Acceptable use

Users may not submit unlawful, misleading, abusive, discriminatory, infringing, malicious, executable, or unsafe content or files.

Liability limitation and governing law

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ECCONY is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-business damages arising from platform use. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
